LAWN CARE
We are professionally trained in lawncare and have pa1 and 6 spraying licences.

Key problems:

Moss
Moss can be really ruin the look of a lawn and if left to its own devices it can really take over. Aeration and scarification are essential to help prevent moss creeping in. Our spray feeds will also do their part to encourage healthy grass and stop moss from interfering.

Weeds
The most common problem in a lawn is weeds. They can really spread like wildfire when the weather is sunny and the ground is moist. We can identify the weeds that are most prevelant in your lawn and put down a spray feed with the correct elements to eliminate the problem.

Diseases
There are many lawn diseases, some of the most common that we see are red thread, brown patch and snow mold lawn disease. Most diseases are fungal, and having regular treatments on your lawn is proven to lower the chance of disease.
SERVICES WE OFFER
Scarification
Scarifying is a necessity for any healthy lawn and should be done with a strong, professional machine for best results. It will get rid of thatch and moss, making way for fresh healthy grass. We will usually top seed and dress afterwards, how much we do so is totally dependant on the lawn and its needs.
Scarifying should be carried out 1-2 times per year, this will be recommended upon a visual examination of your lawn.

Aeration
This is a great service that we offer, usually only done once per year, this is the act of perforating the lawn to encourage new growth and increase the flow of water, oxygen and nutrients to the grass roots. A lawn that is in need of aeration is a lawn that is too compact. This can be from vehicles being driven over the grass or just from general foot traffic and heavy weather. You are also more prone to this if the soil has a high clay content. Compact grass is weak grass - aeration will strengthen your lawn and give it new life.

Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter Feeds
We recommend 3 feeds per year to keep your lawn at optimal health, along with scarification and aeration.
All of these treatments will include selective weed killer with a seaweed mix alongside.

Spring feed -
Designed to encourage root and leaf growth as the weather warms up, along with the first weed control and seaweed mix of the year.

Summer feed -
Encourages strong, dense grass growth and boosts the nitrogen levels in the grass. Repeated mowing means that your lawn can become nitrogen deficient. You will see a noticeable change in the appearance of your lawn. If the weather is too hot for a granular feed we will switch to a liquid for the summer.

Autumn feed -
High in phosphates and protects your lawn from frosty conditions. The potassium helps to prevent the lawn from developing any diseases.

Winter moss control -
This will kill the moss in the lawn and promote healthy grass.
